(Spring 2021 – Holland) 5-day Retreat – Deep Solutions to Communication Breakdown with Greg Heffron

Come learn how Mindful Communication can enhance your ability to interact with your world with effectiveness, kindness, and truth. Based on The Five Keys to Mindful Communication, this popular five-day retreat aims to unlock stuck patterns of interaction, allowing us to rediscover our natural human ability to connect with ourselves and others.

Huise Elisabeth is surrounded by charming rural areas for walking.

Sadly, Susan Gillis Chapman is no longer traveling to Europe for teachings.

For the fourth time since 2014, Greg Heffron will guide our 5-day deep-retreat/workshop in Denekamp, Holland. In this workshop (in English) Greg will go more deeply into the practice of applying mindful communication to those moments when we feel groundless, bringing self-compassion to our underlying fears and self-doubts so that we can regain our confidence and see situations more clearly. This in turn will point towards more successful community strategies to counter social alienation and artificial conflict. Using Susan Gillis Chapman’s exclusive “Green Zone” approach, participants will learn how to rediscover their “authentic presence,” allowing for more genuine exchange and opening. By the end of this program teachers and coaches will be able to apply this method in their professional work.

Who is it for?

The retreat will include small group sessions for exercises and discussion of the material.

This workshop is especially useful for mindfulness trainers, therapists, counsellors and communications professionals who are looking to integrate mindful communication into their work. It will also benefit individuals who are seeking ways to work more skillfully with others in their personal and professional lives.

The workshop/retreat is suitable both for participants with little previous experience in mindful communication and also for those who have participated in other workshops with Susan and Greg, including advanced courses, as a way of deepening their understanding.

Two Tiers of Study/Practice Available

Greg will offer two levels of participation in this program: Tier I is for those new to Chapman’s material, while Tier 2 is for students with past experience (including Green Zone Teachers and Green Zone Leaders). The group will meet as a whole for some sessions while the two tiers will meet separately for other sessions. Potential teachers may be given the opportunity to offer short talks to the Tier I students.

All participants receive a certificate of participation. The workshop will enable participants to be authorized to use exercises and parts of the Green Zone model in their (mindfulness-based) professional work.
