Mindfulness meditation is an ancient practice used by millions across cultures and over thousands of years. Meditating on the simple, acute observation of one’s own state of mind is likely far older than famous traditions like Buddhism or Hinduism. In truth, many cultures and traditions utilized meditation as a method of contemplative inquiry.
