Tired of Fear, Uncertainty, Irritation and Changing Emotional Weather?

Discover Your Inner Emotional Healthiness

In this gentle 1-Day program, you’ll experience helpful exercises, guided meditations, and perspectives from the wisdom tradition of Buddhism to help you discover (a little) peace in the midst of COVID uncertainty.

Who Is This For?

You’re a peaceful person. You’ve meditated or studied psychology. You’re aiming for a world where different people with different views can get along — especially during such a difficult time as this.

But COVID has shown you that you still have a lot more to learn. “How can anyone maintain a sense of joy and goodness when things are so…up in the air?”

And let’s talk about division. We can all agree that the disagreement between different groups with different views and agendas is fierce right now.

And what can an ordinary person like yourself do?

This “refresh retreat” will not try to sort out any of the details and issues around COVID. This isn’t about who’s right or wrong. Please contemplate that on your own time.

What this program will do is to contemplate powerful teachings from the Buddhist tradition about working with uncertainty and fear.

What is Freedom?

According to these ancient wisdom teachings, freedom is who we are in our true nature.

Life can be deeply uncertain, day to day.

But we do have the capacity and longing to go beyond our typical patterns and learn how to manage ourselves — and even thrive — in the midst of life’s uncertainty.

Obviously, in a short day retreat, we can only go so far.

Each group is feeling victimized by other group. Mainstream media folks are being threatened by those who don’t comply. We could go back to normal. They don’t feel like a privileged class.

Divide and conquer in the past has not been good for most of us. We have regretted these simplistic notions that have pitted one against the other. Society functions better when we have coherence. How do we remove the divides in our own minds and hearts so that we can work on society?
